  • POUR RICH'S CARAMEL SAUCE INTO DESIRED FLAN MOLD TO COVER THE BOTTOM 1/8" DEEP
STEP 2: PREPARING THE FLAN:

STOVE TOP METHOD:
  • POUR CONTENTS OF RICH'S FLAN PACKAGE INTO A HEAVY SAUCEPAN.
  • HEAT OVER MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
  • BRING TO A BOIL AND CONTINUE HEATING FOR 1 MINUTE, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
  • REMOVE FROM HEAT.
  • CAREFULLY POUR THE HOT FLAN LIQUID INTO THE MOLD OVER THE CARAMEL SAUCE.
  •  CHILL IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR 2 - 4 HOURS UNTIL SET.
MICROWAVE METHOD:
  • POUR THE CONTENTS OF RICH'S FLAN PACKAGE INTO A MICROWAVE SAFE CONTAINER AND COVER WITH PLASTIC WRAP.
  • HEAT ON HIGH HEAT FOR 3 MINUTES.
  • STIR CAREFULLY AND HEAT ON HIGH AGAIN FOR 3 MINUTES OR UNTIL PRODUCT BOILS.
  • CONTINUE HEATING FOR 1 MINUTES ( NOTE: HEATING TIMES WILL VARY BASED ON MICROWAVE POWER AND AMOUNT BEING HEATED) THEN CAREFULLY POUR THE HOT RICH'S FLAN LIQUID INTO THE MOLD OVER THE CARAMEL SAUCE.
  • CHILL IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR 2 - 4 HOURS UNTIL SET.
OVEN METHOD:
  • POUR CONTENTS OF RICH'S FLAN PACKAGE OVER THE CARAMEL SAUCE IN THE MOLD.
  • PLACE THE MOLD IN A TRAY OF WATER TO PREVENT SCORCHING.
  • BAKE AT 325 F FOR 45 MINUTES UNTIL PRODUCT BOILS.
  • REMOVE FROM THE OVEN.
  • CHILL IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR 2 - 4 HOURS UNTIL SET.
STEP 3 - PRESENTATION:
  • REMOVE FROM THE REFRIGERATOR, INVERT FLAN MOLD ONTO DESIRED SERVING PLATE. ANY UNUSED PRODUCT MAYBE KEPT IN THE CONTAINER IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR 3 DAYS.
