Tips & Handling

BAKE: o Preheat oven to 425 F. o Place frozen meatballs in a single layer, in an oven-safe baking dish. o Bake 30 to 35 minutes on middle oven rack, or until meatballs are hot. SLOW-COOKER: o Place meatballs in slow-cooker. o Cover with your favorite sauce. o Cook for 3 hours on high, or until meatballs are hot. STOVETOP, WITH SAUCE: o Place meatballs in saucepan. o Cover with your favorite sauce. o Bring to boil, stirring. o Reduce heat. o Cook another 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until meatballs are hot. STOVETOP, WITHOUT SAUCE: o Place meatballs in saucepan. o Add one cup water. o Bring to boil, stirring. o Reduce heat; cover pot. o Cook another 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until meatballs are hot. o Drain off water. MICROWAVE, WITH SAUCE: o Arrange 5 meatballs around the edge of a microwave-safe dish. o Cover with your favorite sauce, and with a paper towel. o Microwave on high for one minute. o Stir, then microwave an additional one minute, or until meatballs are hot. o Let stand one minute before serving. MICROWAVE, WITHOUT SAUCE: o Arrange 5 meatballs around the edge of a microwave-safe dish. o Add one tablespoon water, and cover with a paper towel. o Microwave on high for one minute. o Stir, then microwave an additional one minute, or until meatballs are hot. o Let stand one minute before serving. o Drain off water. Caution - contents may be hot! The microwave instructions were developed using an 1100 watt microwave oven. Due to differences in appliances, cooking times may vary and require adjustment.
