Cheddar & Pulled Pork Pretzel Torpedos
The rich sweetness of caramelized onions is a simple but elegant foil for smoky pulled pork. Together with tangy mustard, Rich’s® Bavarian Pretzel Stick and shredded cheddar they make for a delicious treat that’s one part ballpark and two parts bistro. They also hold beautifully for a hot addition to your grab and-go line up.

Ingredients
1 ea Rich’s® Double Rub Bar-B-Q Pork w/no sauce
5 oz portion bag (PC 09904)
2 Tbsp Onions, caramelized
1/2 tsp Salt, kosher
2 ea Rich’s® Bavarian Pretzel Stick (PC 35377)
1 Tbsp Mustard, Dijon
1/4 cup Cheddar, shredded
Directions
- Mix warmed pork with caramelized onions, season with salt.
- Split Rich’s® Bavarian Pretzel Stick to open like a submarine roll.
- Spread mustard evenly over bottom half of pretzel stick. Spoon pork and onion mix over mustard.
- Top Bar-B-Q pork with shredded cheddar. Place sandwich under salamander or cheese melter to melt cheddar. (Alternatively, substitute cheddar cheese sauce for the shredded cheddar.)
- Serve torpedos hot.
